Beehive (Symbol)

  1. A symbol of industry, cooperation, and hard work, embraced by the pioneers and woven through Latter-day Saint and Utah imagery.

From the Book of Mormon word "deseret" (honeybee), the beehive appears on Utah's state emblem, on temples, and in Church art, representing a whole community working together.
