Ensign Peak

  1. The Church's investment management firm, which oversees a large financial reserve built largely from surplus tithing and donations.

Named for a hill north of Salt Lake City, Ensign Peak Advisors manages the Church's endowment-like reserve. Its size became public through a 2019 whistleblower report, and in 2023 the firm and the Church settled with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission over how some holdings had been reported.
