Feel the Spirit

  1. To sense the influence of the Holy Ghost — often felt as warmth, peace, or being moved to tears — and taken as confirmation that something is true or good.

One of the most common ways Latter-day Saints describe a spiritual experience ("Did you feel the Spirit?"). It is often associated with emotion — tears during a testimony, a swell of peace in a meeting — though members are also taught that the Spirit speaks through thoughts and impressions to the mind, not through feelings alone.
