Happy Valley

  1. A term for Utah Valley, an area south of Salt Lake City, Utah.

With an extremely high population percentage of LDS members, this area (including, for example, Provo and Orem) is often sheltered from the outside world. The existence of the main Brigham Young University (Provo) campus in this valley serves to enhance this effect.
