Sunbeam

  1. The youngest class in Primary, for children who turn four during the year — their first year out of nursery.

Named for the beloved Primary song 'I Am a Sunbeam,' Sunbeams are the newest and smallest Primary children, entering the class the year they turn 4 after graduating from nursery. 'Sunbeam' also doubles as affectionate slang for any small, wide-eyed child at church.
