Ward Mission Plan
- A written plan the ward council develops to guide the congregation's missionary efforts — finding, teaching, and retaining — usually built with the ward mission leader and the full-time missionaries.
Rather than leaving missionary work to chance, the ward council sets goals and assignments for sharing the gospel, supporting those being taught by the missionaries, and welcoming new and returning members. The ward mission leader helps carry the plan out and reports back, so it gets reviewed and updated in ward council on a regular cadence. It's the practical machinery behind the slogan "every member a missionary."
