Abraham

  1. The Old Testament patriarch with whom God made the Abrahamic covenant, and the subject of the Book of Abraham.

Latter-day Saints look to Abraham as the father of the covenant they inherit. The Book of Abraham (in the Pearl of Great Price), which Joseph Smith produced from Egyptian papyri, adds teachings on the premortal life, the Creation, and the cosmos, including Kolob.
