Bishop's Youth Council
- Bishop's Youth Council — a regular meeting where the bishopric counsels with the ward's youth leaders to plan activities and look after the young men and young women.
Unlike ward council, which is made up of adult organization leaders, BYC puts the youth themselves at the table: the presidencies of the deacons, teachers, and priests quorums and of the Young Women classes meet with members of the bishopric to plan Mutual activities, camps, service, and to counsel about the needs of their peers. It's meant to be youth-led planning under the bishopric's direction, giving teenagers real leadership experience.
