BYU Honor Code

  1. The code of conduct that students at Church universities agree to live, covering dress, grooming, chastity, honesty, and abstaining from alcohol, coffee, tea, and drugs.

Enforced by an Honor Code Office and requiring an ecclesiastical endorsement from one's bishop, its dress-and-grooming and visiting rules are a defining — and sometimes debated — part of BYU life.
