Chapel

  1. A common nickname for meetinghouses.
  2. The central and largest room inside a meetinghouse.

The chapel is almost exclusively used to house the most important part of church on Sunday, that being Sacrament Meeting. Sometimes classes and firesides are held in it due to space limitations; however the topic and themes of these activities are never supposed to disrupt the sanctity of the chapel itself.
