District Leader

  1. A missionary assigned to lead a district — supporting its companionships, gathering their numbers, and holding regular district meetings.

A district leader ("DL") is often one of the first leadership roles a missionary is given. He remains a regular proselyting missionary with his own companion while also looking after his district.
