Missionary Life

District

  1. In a mission, a small group of missionary companionships serving near one another, led by a district leader.
  2. In Church administration, a cluster of branches in an area not yet large enough to be a stake, led by a district president.

Missionary districts (usually two to four companionships) meet regularly for training and to report on the work, and several districts together make up a zone.
