Emergency Preparedness
- Preparing for disasters and hard times through supplies, plans, and self-reliance — something Church leaders regularly encourage members to do.
Members are counseled from the pulpit and in Church magazines to be ready for emergencies without going to extremes: keeping 72-hour kits, water storage, some savings, and a family emergency plan, alongside longer-term food storage.
