Gentile

  1. In scripture, a person who is not of the house of Israel — one outside the covenant lineage, as in the recurring pairing "Jew and Gentile" that together stands for all of humanity.

Latter-day Saints understand themselves as part of gathered Israel, so scripture such as the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants frequently addresses "Jew and Gentile."
