Isaiah
- The Old Testament prophet whose writings are quoted extensively in the Book of Mormon and prized by Latter-day Saints.
Nephi "delighted" in Isaiah, and Jesus commanded the Nephites to search his words, so long passages of Isaiah appear in the Book of Mormon. His prophecies of Christ and the last days make him one of the most studied — and most challenging — voices in LDS scripture.
