Missionary Farewell
- A sacrament meeting (and often a gathering afterward) held to send off a departing missionary.
Traditionally the missionary and family members speak, and friends and ward members come to say goodbye. In recent years the Church has toned down elaborate "farewells" so they don't overshadow regular Sunday worship.
