Second Anointing

  1. A rare, higher temple ordinance in which a select few receive the culminating blessings of the priesthood, sometimes called the "fulness of the priesthood."

Given quietly by invitation to a small number of couples, the second anointing builds on the endowment and sealing. It is seldom discussed publicly, and little is said of it in ordinary Church settings.
