  1. Four different books that make up the official scriptural basis of the LDS church.

These books include the King James Version of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. When all four are bound together the volume is called a Quad (short for Quadruple Combination); the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price bound together without the Bible are called a Triple Combination.
