Temple & Ordinances

Temple Clothing

  1. The white ceremonial clothing worn while participating in temple ordinances.

All patrons dress in white to symbolize purity and equality before God; the endowment adds additional ceremonial robes. Temple clothing is distinct from the everyday temple garment, though both are white and sacred.
