Baptismal Date

  1. A target date set with someone the missionaries are teaching, marking when they plan to be baptized.

Missionaries "invite" or "commit" a person to a baptismal date to give the teaching a clear goal and help them prepare. Setting one is considered a key milestone in a person's progress toward baptism.
