Family History Center
- A local facility, usually in a meetinghouse, where people can research their genealogy with Church resources and help.
Family history (genealogy) is central to the Church's temple work, since members perform ordinances for deceased ancestors. The centers offer free access to records and are open to the public. In 2023 they were officially renamed FamilySearch Centers, though many still call them family history centers.
