Home Teaching
- This service and teaching program is run by the Church and requires every family in a ward to be visited monthly by two male members that hold the Priesthood.
During these visits members are taught a lesson that is provided each month by the leadership of the Church. Home Teachers are supposed to become friends with and provide service for the families to which they are assigned. Occasionally, Home Teaching companionships are made up of a husband and wife.
