Light of Christ
- A divine influence that fills the universe and gives every person a basic sense of right and wrong — often felt as conscience.
Distinct from the gift of the Holy Ghost (which comes after baptism), the Light of Christ is given to everyone and helps them recognize truth and goodness. It is considered a first step toward receiving greater spiritual gifts.
