Quorum
- The name for a group of Priesthood holders.
The Church has many quorums, each made up of those holding a particular priesthood office: quorums of deacons, teachers, and priests in the Aaronic Priesthood, and the elders quorum in the Melchizedek Priesthood. (Since 2018, all Melchizedek Priesthood holders in a ward — elders and high priests alike — meet together in the elders quorum; a separate high priests quorum now exists only at the stake level.) At the highest levels are the Quorums of the Seventy and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. A quorum is meant to function as a brotherhood, not just a class.
