Saints
- Often used to refer to the members of the Church as a group.
In the New Testament sense, a Saint is simply a member of Christ's covenant church rather than someone canonized for holiness. Latter-day Saints use the term for the body of the faithful; it does not imply that any member is perfect. The name reflects the belief that, through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, members can be made pure enough to dwell in God's presence.
