Zion
- The pure in heart — a people united in righteousness.
- A place where God's covenant people gather; historically specific locations and, more broadly, the community of the Saints.
Zion carries several meanings: a holy city, the gathering places of the Saints, and, as scripture defines it, "the pure in heart." Building Zion — a unified, consecrated people — is a recurring aspiration in Latter-day Saint teaching.
