Samuel the Lamanite
- A Lamanite prophet who preached repentance to the Nephites from atop a city wall, prophesying the signs of Christ's birth and death.
Famously shot at with arrows and stones that could not hit him, Samuel foretold the night without darkness at Christ's birth. His preaching is a striking Book of Mormon reversal — a Lamanite calling the more privileged Nephites to repent.
