Lamanites
- One of the two main peoples in the Book of Mormon, often the Nephites' adversaries, descended from Laman; traditionally understood as ancestors of indigenous American peoples.
Though frequently at war with the Nephites, at times the Lamanites were the more righteous. The stripling warriors of the Army of Helaman were the sons of Lamanite converts. They outlasted the Nephites.
