This Is the Place
- The words Brigham Young reportedly spoke on entering the Salt Lake Valley in 1847 — "This is the right place, drive on" — marking where the pioneers would settle.
The phrase is memorialized at This Is the Place Heritage Park and Monument at the mouth of Emigration Canyon in Salt Lake City. It captures the end of the pioneer trek west.
