Trunky

  1. Slang for a missionary who has mentally checked out and is preoccupied with going home.

From the image of already having one's bags packed in the 'trunk,' a trunky missionary daydreams about home, family, food, or a sweetheart instead of focusing on the work — most common in the final weeks of a mission. The verb 'to trunk it' describes the same thing.
