Ward Social
- A social gathering or activity where all members of a specific ward are invited to attend.
Although Ward socials do not occur on a specific schedule, they are normally held at least four to five times each year and may revolve around certain holidays (e.g., Christmas, Halloween, Easter). Ward socials are organized by various members of the Ward leadership and are intended to maintain and/or improve the cohesiveness of a Ward. These family-friendly events are normally held at a meetinghouse (in the cultural hall), consist of a meal and activity, and are generally two hours long. Dress is determined by the tone of the event and may vary from full Sunday dress to normal street clothes.
