Book of Mormon Witnesses
- The Three Witnesses and Eight Witnesses who signed testimonies, printed in every Book of Mormon, that they saw the golden plates.
The Three Witnesses (Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, and Martin Harris) testified an angel showed them the plates; the Eight Witnesses said Joseph Smith showed them the plates directly. Several later left the Church, but none is known to have denied his testimony.
