Oliver Cowdery
- The principal scribe for the translation of the Book of Mormon and one of its Three Witnesses.
Oliver Cowdery wrote much of the Book of Mormon as Joseph Smith dictated, and was present when John the Baptist and later Peter, James, and John restored the priesthood. He left the Church for a time but returned before his death.
