Hymn Book

  1. A standardized collection of songs that are sung during Church services.

These songs are kept in a green book with the title Hymns written on the outside. The current edition was first published in 1985 but there have been multiple editions since 1835. There are 341 songs in the current edition. Almost all of the songs revolve around God, Jesus Christ, and other religious topics. Just like the scripture of the Church the Hymn book has been published in many languages to allow members to express themselves in their native tongues. All hymns can be accessed on LDS.org using this link (http://www.lds.org/cm/display/0,17631,4650-1,00.html).
