John the Beloved
- The New Testament apostle whom Latter-day Saints believe was translated — allowed to remain on earth without dying — to keep ministering until Christ's return.
He asked the Lord for this blessing, much like the Three Nephites in the Book of Mormon. Latter-day Saints believe he is still at work in the world, and he also wrote the book of Revelation.
