Covenants

  1. Sacred, two-way promises between God and a person, in which God sets the terms and the person agrees to keep them.

Covenants are made through ordinances — baptism, the temple endowment, and sealing chief among them. Keeping covenants brings promised blessings; members speak of being "covenant keepers" and staying "on the covenant path."
