Relief Society

  1. The Church's organization for all adult women — one of the oldest and largest women's organizations in the world.

Founded in 1842, Relief Society oversees the spiritual and temporal welfare of women and families through service, teaching, and ministering. Every adult woman belongs, and it is led at the ward level by a Relief Society president and her counselors.
